The majority of these songs were written during a space in time when I was experiencing many changes in my personal life. “Nocturno” is my latest musical project that represents a new phase in my career. The majority of these songs were written during a space in time when I was experiencing many changes in my personal life. Besides the pandemic, I was living through the painful aftermath of relationship separation which was both intense and beautiful. At the same time, I found myself being the care giver to a close family member going through a difficult illness which is still on-going. These life lessons inspired me to dedicate an entire year to just writing without really knowing or having a specific goal in mind. Honestly, it was more of therapeutic process for me. This is where “Nocturno” was born. A record that stems from dark, precious, nostalgic and emotionally profound moments. It’s the first full album that I release totally in Spanish in many years. The sound, the production and the intention is all new to me and I hope that my listeners will enjoy and appreciate this new musical journey.
